He is a member of YIO’s legal team and focuses on the Endowment’s leveraged buyouts and venture capital portfolios in addition to providing capital markets support. He graduated from Yale College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, and received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2019. Before joining Yale, Chris was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.

Why did you join the Yale Investments Office?

Since fourth grade at Hooker Elementary School, I’ve returned time and again to New Haven. I value the chance to give back to Yale and New Haven through my role at YIO.

What is your favorite restaurant in New Haven?

Ivy Wok (formerly known as Ivy Noodle), which has sadly closed. Having consumed a self-estimated 500 orders, I will never forget the taste of its Singaporean Rice Noodles–doused in the restaurant’s signature acidic, slightly funky hot sauce.
