Vishal joined the Yale Investments Office in July 2020 after interning as an undergraduate. He concentrates on the Endowment’s venture capital portfolio and climate-related investments, and helps implement new technology within the office. He previously focused on the real assets portfolio. He graduated from Yale College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Vishal serves on the board of the Urban Philanthropic Fund and is a Fellow of Pauli Murray College.
What is one thing you love about being a member of the Yale Investments Office team?
I love the camaraderie that comes with working at YIO. The close-knit, supportive environment enables our team to further the University’s mission, while having fun and building friendships along the way.
What is your favorite spot on Yale’s campus?
My favorite spot on campus is the Yale Center for Engineering Innovation & Design, commonly known as the CEID. The makerspace is always filled with curious minds working on intriguing projects, not to mention all the fun tools.
