Stephen Apgar

Stephen joined the Yale Investments Office in May 2024 and works on the Finance and Investment Operations team.  He attended Fairfield University where he earned a  Bachelor of Science in 2016 and a Master of Science in Accountancy in 2017.  Prior to joining YIO, Stephen worked at Harvard Management Company as an Associate Director of Finance and in the Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He earned his CPA in 2018 before choosing to become inactive in 2023.

Why did you join the Yale Investments Office?

I was excited by the opportunity to contribute to the success of the organization by helping to enable the operations function.

What is your favorite restaurant in New Haven?

Having grown up in CT, I have many fond memories of trips to New Haven for Modern Apizza.
