Joseph Doran

Joe joined the Yale Investments Office in July 2020 after interning as an undergraduate. He focuses on the Endowment’s leveraged buyouts portfolio. He graduated from Yale College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Global Affairs. He became a CFA® charterholder in 2024. Joe is a Fellow of Trumbull College and a First-Year advisor.

What has been your favorite place to travel for work?

Munich, Germany, where I enjoyed long walks along the river and received a robust education from Tim Sullivan in the subtle art of Bavarian cuisine.

What is your favorite spot on Yale’s campus?

The Trumbull buttery. Although they no longer let me in, I have many fine memories of late nights spent in the buttery discussing philosophy or reality television with dino-nugget grilled cheese sandwiches in hand.
